U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar says she will continue to meet with constituents after a man rushed her at a town hall on Tuesday and squirted a liquid on her.

Larry Jacobs, a political science professor at the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs, says in-person town hall meetings have become increasingly susceptible to violence.
Omar and Rep. Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts held an event Wednesday at Karmel Mall in Minneapolis.
