FBI leading investigation after Rep. Ilhan Omar sprayed with substance at Minneapolis town hall

Formal charges have not yet been filed against the man accused of using a syringe to spray an unknown substance on U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minnesota) during her Minneapolis town hall on Tuesday.

The FBI is leading the investigation, a Minneapolis police spokesperson confirmed on Wednesday.
Kazmierczak has no recent criminal history in Minnesota and appears to live in Minneapolis, according to court records.
I believe the preliminary reports that we have is that what was sprayed on people was not toxic,” said Moriarty.
