SMC deployed men and machinery round the clock, leveraging modern high-capacity de-watering pumps and field teams to ensure swift drainage. All identified waterlogging hotspots have been cleared, with focused interventions in low-lying pockets, major corridors, traffic-prone stretches, and residential-commercial clusters. SMC reiterates its commitment to proactive civic management during adverse weather and urges citizens to report any residual waterlogging through the helpline for immediate action. SMC remains fully geared to respond swiftly to weather-related challenges, prioritising public safety and uninterrupted civic services across Srinagar.
