One area where depth was thin on what looks like a talented and deep Alabama defense for 2026 was in the Wolf LB room. According to the Tuscaloosa News, veteran Jah-Marien Latham will be back at Alabama next season for his seventh season of college football. Latham suffered a lower-body injury during Alabama's season-opening loss to Florida State that caused him to miss the following two games. Latham suffered the injury in practice and was immediately transported to UAB via ambulance. And now Alabama will return its most veteran player, and the last man standing from the Crimson Tide's last National Championship-winning team.
