A Danville woman was rescued by a North Carolina State Trooper over the weekend. On Sunday morning Trooper Underwood was dispatched to the area of Green Tree Road in Caswell County regarding a vehicle in a ditch reported by OnStar. Upon arriving, Trooper Underwood did not initially locate the vehicle. At 9 am Trooper Underwood found the vehicle off the left shoulder of the roadway, facing south, in a steep ditch near the dead end. The Trooper made contact with the 81-year-old woman from Danville.
