She was born on August 29, 1965, in Sheridan, Illinois, the daughter of the late Janis Louise Larson Fugate. Dee proudly served in the United States Army for 17 years, demonstrating her dedication to her country. After her military career, she worked at Casey’s General Store in Leland, Illinois, and previously as a cashier at Thornton’s. She was also a devoted animal lover, with a special place in her heart for her dogs and cats.
