Snow and ice keep DPW crews busy along Jersey ShoreATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (WPVI) -- Frigid temperatures have turned snow along the Jersey shore into sheets of ice, keeping public works crews busy across coastal communities as they prepare for the possibility of another storm this weekend.
In Atlantic City, DPW Superintendent James Grams said crews were focused on snow removal to make room for whatever may fall next.
"Right now, our snow operation is snow removal, just in case whatever's impeding this weekend, there's a place to put the snow."
Atlantic City DPW Director Crystal Lewis said cleanup operations would continue through Friday.
Nearby in Ventnor City, DPW crews were also working long hours to clear streets and storm drains.
