People can take a ride on the ice carousel, go down the ice slide, or play some pond hockey. With recent negative temperatures, Superior Mayor Jim Paine said the colder it is, the better. We can’t do that in neighborhoods anymore, but we can do it out on the frozen river,” said Mayor Paine. The Lake Superior Ice Festival is on January 30th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and January 31st from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
