Netflix has renewed its legal drama “The Lincoln Lawyer” for a fifth season, the order coming in just ahead of the show’s fourth season launch on February 5th. The ten-episode fifth season will be based on Michael Connelly’s seventh Mickey Haller book “Resurrection Walk” and is slated to begin filming in March. Eight books are in the series – the first adapted into the Matthew McConaughey-led film, while the second, fourth, fifth and sixth have been translated into the Netflix series. Co-showrunners Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez say in a statement:“We’re so excited to share the upcoming fourth season with the audience on February 5th, and even more excited to share the news that we’re already hard at work on the next one. David E. Kelley created the series and serves as one of its executive producers.
