Singapore Airlines adjusts network for northern summer season: Singapore Airlines (SIA) will adjust flight frequencies and boost passenger capacity on selected routes across its global network, supporting demand for travel during the 2026 Northern Summer operating season (29 March 2026 to 24 October 2026). Services between Singapore and Yangon, Myanmar, will increase to 10 times weekly from 31 March 2026, up from the current seven-times weekly operations. Flight services between Singapore and Surabaya, Indonesia will increase to 21 times weekly from 29 March 2026, up from the current 19-times weekly operations. SIA will operate 10 weekly services between Singapore and Colombo, Sri Lanka from 29 March to 30 April 2026. From 1 May 2026, this will increase to twice daily (14 weekly services), up from 10-times weekly services.
