Thomas “Tom” HatfieldThomas “Tom” Joseph Hatfield, 58 of Zanesville died Tuesday morning, January 27, 2026, at his home following a sudden illness. He was born on Wednesday, June 14, 1967, in Zanesville, Ohio, the son of Robert “Bob” M. Hatfield Sr. and the late, Charlene A. Kuhn Hatfield. Tom graduated in 1985 from Zanesville High School and as a junior in high school he started working at WHIZ, where he continued to work for 40 plus years as a communications technician. In addition to his father he is survived by a daughter, Shelby L. Hatfield; his three siblings, Robert “Bob” (Mollie) Hatfield Jr., and twins Mike (Tracie) Hatfield and Tracey (Brad) Graf; his pet cat, JoJo; and numerous friends including Greg Todd and Dan Worstall. The Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Ave. Zanesville, is in charge of the arrangements.
