Deputies find man shot to death inside east Harris Co. motel room while serving warrant, HCSO saysHARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- An investigation is underway in east Harris County after deputies serving an arrest warrant found a man dead inside a motel room on Wednesday afternoon, the Harris County Sheriff's Office said. HCSO said deputies from Precinct 3 initially served a parole warrant for a suspect from Louisiana and then tracked the suspect. That suspect was quickly found and detained at the motel, HCSO says. Shortly after, HCSO said deputies noticed a broken window in the room next door and went to investigate, leading them to find another man shot multiple times inside the bathroom. It is confirmed that there is no connection between the orginal detained suspect and the victim who was shot, HCSO said.
