Pawar died in a plane crash while traveling to Baramati for scheduled functions. Therefore, the investigation into the accident has now narrowed down to those final seven minutes when the aircraft was circling above the Baramati airstrip. A crucial moment occurred at 8:42 am, when the pilots informed ATC that the runway was not visible due to low visibility. The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) and Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) have jointly launched an investigation.
