Gold and Silver Prices Today, January 29: Gold and silver prices continued their record-breaking rally on Thursday, January 29, driven by safe-haven buying amid rising geopolitical and economic tensions.
The precious metals had hit all-time highs on Wednesday, reflecting strong investor interest and bullish cues from international bullion markets.
Gold had opened over 2% higher, while silver saw an even sharper rally of more than 7%, signalling heightened demand across global markets.
Gold prices in India today stands at Rs 1,67,090 per 10 grams for 24-karat gold, Rs 1,53,160 per 10 grams for 22-karat gold, and Rs 1,25,320 per 10 grams for 18-karat gold (also known as 999 gold).
