Visitation to Las Vegas fell 7.5% in 2025 to 38.5 million people, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority said this afternoon.
Experts have also cited affordability of visiting Las Vegas as a reason for the decline — something the convention authority addressed with a $35 million “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” campaign promoting deals.
With approximately 150,300 hotel rooms, Las Vegas maintains the largest hotel inventory in the United States and second largest in the world.
For 2026, the Las Vegas Convention Center is projected to host approximately 1.2 million trade show attendees, up from 1 million in 2025, the said.
“Las Vegas remains a category of one,” Hill said.
