Police in Sterlington, Louisiana threatened to cite drivers without 4WD. Authorities were upset with cars getting stuck and blocking traffic. The department added utility companies and emergency services “can’t help people if we can’t get down our highways” due to stranded vehicles. 🚨EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY🚨 If we find you stuck in a non 4×4 vehicle and you’re blocking traffic we are issuing citations. Come by our office and speak with Chief [Brown], he loves a good conversation.”Needless to say, that’s not a great look for the department or town.
