DCPS Holds 2nd Annual State of the School Address(CAMBRIDGE, Md) – Dorchester County Superintendent, Dr. Jymil Thompson hosted the second annual state of the School Address Wednesday to highlight many of the school system’s ongoing efforts. From improving school safety through drills to the latest progress on the “23 No More” Campaign, he wants to keep the community as engaged as possible. “Because we want to be transparent with the community and let them know everything that we’re doing as the school was working, what’s not working? And what we plan to do going forward to remedy any situation that is causing the school system,” says Dr. Thompson. The school system hosted a panel featuring specialists from the district and parents.
