A 13-year-old has been charged as an adult with aggravated assault after shooting a 16-year-old in Lewis Circle. According to the investigation, both the suspect and the victim fired weapons, but the suspect shot first. The 16-year-old was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. After being discharged from the hospital, he was also charged with aggravated assault. Both teenagers are currently in custody while the investigation continues regarding the possible involvement of a third person.
