— United Way of Natrona County recently announced that nearly 40 local nonprofit organizations across the city will benefit from community investment funding made possible by UWNC’s annual campaign, which surpassed $1 million for the first time since 2018.
A release from United Way of Natrona County says that the milestone reflects generosity, resilience and dedication of a community committed to giving back and strengthening local impact.
“This moment is a testament to what’s possible when a community comes together with purpose,” said David Carpenter, president of the United Way of Natrona County Board of Directors.
United Way of Natrona County’s Community Investment Committee, composed of dedicated community volunteers and board members, will guide each funding application through a structured and rigorous evaluation process.
Additional donations give United Way of Natrona County the flexibility to respond to emerging needs and allow it to invest even more deeply into programs that strengthen families and individuals across Natrona County.
