January the 29th, 2026 – Big Zagreb Airport hotel and complex plans have fallen very short, with absolutely zero offers to carry out the estimated 40 million euro job. As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, Zagreb Airport d.o.o. An e-mail invitation was sent out to 5,783 e-mail addresses worldwide, targeting investors, hotel chains and consultants operating within the hospitality sector. Zagreb Airport has already prepared a conceptual design for the future hotel and complex in two variants, and a location permit has even been obtained for one already. According to the feasibility study they previously prepared, the total investment is estimated to stand at a whopping 40 million euros.
