January the 29th, 2026 – A ferry line linking Dubrovnik with Kotor and Budva in neighbouring Montenegro is set to launch in summer 2026. As Sinisa Malus/Poslovni Dnevnik writes, the Budva-Dubrovnik and Kotor-Dubrovnik maritime lines will be re-established during the upcoming summer tourist season. The ferry linking Dubrovnik with both Kotor and Budva will start operating on June the 1st, as was recently announced Montenegrin Maritime Minister Filip Radulović, adding that the route will last until the end of September this year. The Montenegrin Maritime Ministry has stated that it will gladly continue its cooperation with the renowned Croatian carrier Kompas, which ensures the continuity and quality of maritime traffic between Montenegro and Croatia. The continuation of the ferry line linking Dubrovnik with both Kotor and Budva is also the result of increased passenger interest in both routes, which was particularly noticeable last summer.
