However, before Saturday, additional snowfall is anticipated across multiple regions of the UK. ‌The Met Office's snow charts pinpoint the areas most likely to be affected – predominantly Scotland and northern England – with Friday, 30 January expected to see snow, including heavy falls exceeding 4mm per hour across higher ground, , reports the Express. In its forecast covering Thursday through to Saturday, the Met Office stated: "Staying unsettled with further showers or longer spells of rain, particularly in the southwest and eastern Scotland.
