KINGSTON, N.Y. — Mayor Steve Noble said on Wednesday that efforts to clean up from a recent large snowstorm, which dropped up to 22 inches of snow on parts of Ulster County Sunday through Monday morning, are continuing throughout the city. “As we move into clean-up operations, the Departments of Public Works and Parks and Recreation will be working to clean up a variety of areas throughout the city,” Noble said in response to a request for comment. On Friday, despite sunny skies, the high is forecast to reach just 17 degrees with wind-chill values of as low as -2 degrees, with a frigid low of -6 degrees under mostly clear skies. Over the weekend, the high on Saturday is expected to reach 20 degrees under sunny skies, with a low of 5 degrees under mostly cloudy skies. On Sunday, the National Weather Service forecast calls for a 30% chance of snow with a high of 23 degrees and a low of 9 degrees.
