Manchester City's Champions League clash against Turkish side Galatasaray was halted tonight (January 28) as protestors stormed the pitch at the Etihad Stadium. Pictures circulating on X show protestors on the pitch bearing what appear to be Kurdish flags. A number of items are also reported to have been thrown from the Galatasaray fans towards the City fans according to our reporter at the game. The match has now resumed. Earlier today thousands of visiting fans made their way through Manchester, bringing parts of the city centre to a stand still.
