TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has revised KPK Regulation Number 2 of 2019 concerning Reporting of Gratuities. KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated that the revision also aims to reduce differences in interpretations regarding gratuity reporting. The threshold for fair value in KPK Regulation Number 2 of 2019 previously referred to the results of surveys in 2018 and 2019. In the latest regulations, the KPK provides clarity regarding the consequences of late reporting, including the possibility of the gratuity being declared state property. With this revised regulation, the KPK hopes that the gratuity reporting system will be more effective and foster a culture of integrity among civil servants and state administrators.
