Because of how proudly he spoke of the Aggie traditions, everyone close to him recognized the authenticity of his passion. “One of the funniest things and the diehard things about him is … two quotes that he had,” Johnson said. “Andy was stern, family-oriented, and he was passionate about his religious belief in a sense,” Johnson said.
