Finishing its first weekend of the season undefeated, NIU men’s tennis swept Mid-American Conference weekly honors. Senior duo Iker Gaztambide Arrastia and Federico Scotuzzi were named the Doubles Team of the Week, while Gaztambide Arrastia was named the Singles Player of the Week. Competing against Valencia in singles, Gaztambide Arrastia controlled 6-2, 6-3 sets to help lift the Huskies over the Redbirds. These are the first MAC honors for the Huskies this season, and the second doubles honor for Gaztambide Arrastia and Scotuzzi, who were previously awarded on Jan. 27, 2025.
