ABS-Eighteen-year-old Jayson Jarvis of Point has been fined $8,000 after taking his father’s unlicensed vehicle and driving with a female passenger before a crash near Valley Church. Police say he was speeding on Valley Road, lost control, hit an oncoming SUV, and then crashed into a tree. Jarvis admitted he had no driver’s licence and took the vehicle without his father’s knowledge.
