HARLEYSVILLE — The annual Harleysville Hank Groundhog Day Extravaganza will be held at the Mennonite Heritage Center on February 2. Hosted by the Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce, the free event invites locals to the Mennonite Heritage Center barn at 565 Yoder Rd. for a light-hearted, family-friendly observance of the Groundhog Day tradition, said the Chamber. The event opens at 6:30 a.m. with groundhog carols, free hot chocolate and coffee and scrapple-making. The Harleysville Hank ceremony begins 7 a.m. with a celebration in word, song and prognostication, said the Chamber.
