The first Associated Students Board of the Directors meeting of the spring semester kicked off on Wednesday with updates on the executive director position, a decision made by the Interfraternity Council and the vice president reports. As of Dec. 31, 2025 that position has moved on to now-Interim Executive Director Jon Simmons, who plans to apply for a permanent position. The human resources policy for the executive director position hasn’t changed for 22 years. Clyde explained to the board that this didn’t impact anything substantial in the executive director role. The business committee, chaired by AS Vice President of Business and Finance Miguel Gabriel Sueki, was also unable to meet because of the same issue.
