A Zion man was involved in a crash involving a semi-truck and an SUV that left a 71-year-old man dead just over the border in Pleasant Prairie, police said. Pleasant Prairie Police Department Public Information Officer Jordan Haske said the serious crash involved two vehicles — a semi-truck and an SUV. The 71-year-old man, who is from Pleasant Prairie, was pronounced dead at the scene despite rescue efforts. Members of the Major Crash Assistance Team of Kenosha County and the Kenosha County Medical Examiner’s Office responded to the scene to assist with the investigation. “The Pleasant Prairie Police would also like to thank our partners; Pleasant Prairie Fire & Rescue Department, Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office, Kenosha Police Department, Kenosha County Medical Examiner’s Office, and members of the Kenosha County Major Crash Team, who contributed to this investigation,” Haske said.
