A political forum for contested races in Southern Kossuth County takes placeTuesday October 7 at 7 p.m at the Algona Public Library, Room A, 210 North PhillipsSt., Algona.The forum is jointly sponsored by the Algona Public Library, Radio stationKLGA, and the Algona Branch of AAUW (American Association of University Women). There are seven contested races: one each in Algona, Bancroft, and Wesley,two each in Burt and Lone Rock. Candidates will respond to questions submitted bythe in-person audience and from those phoned-in during the one and one-half hourforum. The forum will be live-streamed on YouTube by KLGA radio station, likelyidentified as Candidate Forum.
