Tyler and Fantilli have formed halves of a defensive pairing for 17 of the Wolverines’ last 18 games — by far their most consistent line pairing each weekend. “Off the ice, we’re just as close as we are on the ice, and we’ve been friends for a really long time. And this year, after some mixing of defensive pairings earlier in the season, Naurato settled on Tyler and Fantilli and never looked back. They’ve done it all together and their friendship has evolved through it, as they’re now both roommates and linemates. As long as the Wolverines’ dynamic defensive duo is on the ice, they’ll be making life difficult for opposing forwards.
