Halton Maleek Duke, 19, of Michigan City is charged in LaPorte Superior Court 2 with dealing in methamphetamine, a Level 2 felony, and Level 5 felony trafficking with an inmate. Farley reportedly contacted a prison security unit, Warden Jason Smiley, and the LaPorte County Sheriff’s office. A number of other people were charged last year in separate incidents for attempting to smuggle drugs and other contraband into WCF and the Indiana State Prison in Michigan City. LaPorte County Prosecutor Sean Fagan said he could not discuss specifics about the most recent case since the outcome is still pending in court.
