It’s no secret that small businesses throughout the nation were drastically impacted by the effects of COVID-19. Vallejo Biz Grow, a loan program designed to support small businesses impacted by the pandemic, is one route that local business owners have secured a helping hand. The program is managed by Solano County Economic Development Corporation (Solano EDC), with funding from the City of Vallejo. In collaboration with the Solano Small Business Development Center (SBDC), the businesses are able to receive business assistance and ongoing capacity-building support. “A lot of them are paying off high-interest loan,” Reed said.
