Subsequently, the victim was interviewed by detectives of the Domestic Violence Unit and supporting investigative agencies. The victim stated that Trant sexually assaulted her shortly after he was released from prison. During the investigation, a minor female family member told detectives that she was also sexually assaulted by Trant. This case is currently under investigation by the Domestic Violence Unit.
