Singapore lays keel of Second Victory-class MRCVOn January 27, 2026, Singapore’s shipbuilder ST Engineering held the keel-laying ceremony of the second Multi-Role Combat Vessel (MRCV) for the Republic of Singapore Navy. ST Engineering launched the first of six Victory-class Multi-Role Combat Vessel (MRCV), Victory, at its Benoi Yard in October 2025. The company started the construction of the second vessel with a steel-cutting ceremony for the second Multi-Role Combat Vessel (MRCV) in April 2025. To honour the legacy of the Victory-class MCVs, the MRCVs will retain the names of the Victory-class MCVs. Ship Naming and Pennant NumbersThe MRCVs will retain the name and pennant numbers of the Victory-class MCVs.
