Share this post or save for laterAs a city planning team works to complete the Lawrence Loop of connected trails, the Bike Plan Steering Committee will solicit feedback from community members in an open house. Once complete, the loop will be 22 miles of paved, connected trails with a greenway of protected recreational land. City commissioners allocated funds to complete the loop when they approved the 2026 budget and 2026-2030 capital improvement plan, per the Lawrence Loop website. As part of that plan, the city intends to construct a pedestrian bridge across Iowa Street in 2027.
