Greece, N.Y. — A young boy was killed by his father this week in a murder-suicide in Upstate New York, according to reports. The Greece Police Department responded to a home at Fetzner Square Apartments & Townhomes in Greece on Monday night for a welfare check, WHAM reported. When officers arrived at the complex, they found a 4-year-old boy and his father dead inside a Squareview Lane home, WHAM reported. In preliminary autopsy findings, the Monroe County Office of the Medical Examiner determined a firearm was used in the apparent murder-suicide, WXXI News reported. Greece police said the department would not release the names of the man and his son.
