DRIVERS were shocked to find their vehicles dying on them just minutes after filling up at a local gas station. However, as the Circle K customers eventually found out, the sputtering wasn’t a problem with their engine, but rather with the pumps they just pulled away from. Circle K customers first noticed the issues with their cars immediately after leaving the gas station on their trips home. For Houghton, Young, and the other motorists who suffered similar fates, repair bills reached as high as $700 to fix the damage done. Thankfully, Circle K has put out a statement urging customers whose vehicles sustained damage as a result of the mistake to file a repair reimbursement claim, satisfying Houghton and others.
