Park and rider users in Chelmsford will have to use their bus tickets to exit the car park from March. ‌Essex County Council has said the changes are being brought in to “enhance security” at the two park and rides at Sandon and Chelmer Valley. A spokesperson for Essex County Council said: “This is a long-planned operational change which is designed to enhance security for customers who use the Park and Ride in Chelmsford. The system already operates successfully at the Colchester Park and Ride site.
