Breeze Airways is launching nonstop seasonal service between Pittsburgh International Airport and Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport, the airline announced Wednesday. The airports haven’t been connected by nonstop service since 2018. Kentucky’s largest city becomes the 64th destination from Pittsburgh International Airport and Breeze’s 14th nonstop destination from the facility. In addition, the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Louisville have athletics and media connections as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Earlier this month, United Airlines said it would begin nonstop daily service between Pittsburgh International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport.
