Students, faculty and staff at NIU have the weekly opportunity to engage with campus research through Northern Exposure: Where Curiosity Meets Research. The series is held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Fridays at 71 North Partnership Studio in the Founders Memorial Library from January to April. 71 North Partnership Studio is kicking off the series for the spring semester after it debuted in the fall. Federico Bassetti, the assistant director of innovation ecosystem development at 71 North Partnership Studio, said Northern Exposure was inspired by the need to help young people get interested in research.
