The City of Joplin is announcing a change of venue for an upcoming meeting of the Joplin City Council. The February 17 meeting will also be held in a larger venue, the Corley Auditorium at Missouri State Southern University. One of the items on the Feb. 17 meeting agenda will be a second and third reading of ordinances regarding annexation and rezoning of property in Wildwood Ranch. The City is making preparations to stream the Feb. 17 meeting live on YouTube (YouTube.com/@JoplinCityHall). The City does plan to post the recording of the Feb. 17 meeting to the City website archive of recorded council meetings within two business days of the meeting’s conclusion.
