For the first time in a century, property owners in the Arrowhead Woods community of Lake Arrowhead no longer have anyone telling them what they can and can’t do with their property. None of the 25 tracts ended up clearing that bar, according to Arrowhead Woods Architectural Committee treasurer Scott Rundle. So now, owners of the properties nearest to the lake and near Lake Arrowhead Country Club will be able to do anything they want, so long as it’s legal, with their properties. Rundle said the loss of the committee’s influence is going to hurt Arrowhead Woods and property owners. Rundle is not optimistic about what an Arrowhead Woods without the committee’s influence will look like.
