SIKESTON — The number of people who care about the future of Sikeston - in all its facets - is growing, and the Sikeston Chamber, Economic Development, and Tourism organization is doing its part to maintain that positive momentum. Young(er) working people within the city are welcome to join the Sikeston Young Professionals. “This is more of a membership-style program,” Chamber Director Taylor Deere said of the opportunity. “It’s a membership within a membership.”People who are 21 years of age to “40-ish,” Deere explained, and are members of the Chamber, are allowed to join. “We just meet regularly,” Deere said, “predominantly for networking.”The cost for Chamber members is $100 annually, while the cost for non-Chamber members is $125 annually.
