Orlando will host a series of events centered around the 2026 national theme, “A Century of Black History Commemorations.” Mayor Buddy Dyer and the Orlando City Council invite the community to honor the 100th anniversary of Black History Month and the lasting impact of Black history, culture and achievement in the City Beautiful. City of Orlando’s Black History Month Art Exhibition opening reception kicks off at Orlando City Hall’s Terrace Gallery at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3. The immersive event celebrates Black History Month with interactive art installations, live DJ performances, curated vendors, food trucks and exhibits from featured Black visual artists. The celebratory events continue with the City of Orlando’s Black History Month Community Celebration at the Plaza Live on Tuesday, Feb. 10.
