Mayor Cindy Jefferies said the warming centre might save someone’s life, and that comes first. Adam Goodwin said he apprehensively supports the temporary warming centre. But she said she could not support another temporary shelter space, which is how the Safe Harbour shelter got started. “I anticipate council will be asked to extend (the warming centre),” Wyntjes said.
