Children are the main victims of violent crime in Kirkcaldy, with drug and child abuse among the main issues.
The claim was made on Wednesday during crisis talks to tackle serious and organised crime, drug abuse, child abuse and housing issues in the Fife town.

The meeting, held in the town’s Philp Hall, was convened by Kirkcaldy MP Melanie Ward and the Linktown Community Action Group.
