With the BAFTA nominations this week, we now have a full picture of which Oscar nominees did the best at the major precursors. Along with the Golden Globes, Critics Choice, and SAG's Actors Awards, the BAFTAs provide a key indication of which contenders have broad support throughout the marathon that is awards season. While missing out on the precursors doesn't derail an actor's chances of landing an Oscar nomination (we're looking at you, Delroy Lindo! Frankenstein came close, missing only BAFTA Best Film, which nominated the SAG-snubbed Sentimental Value instead (which got four of the five as well). Per the Gold Derby prediction data, three of the four acting races are led by performers who scored across-the-board nods: Buckley in Best Actress, Chalamet in Best Actor, and Taylor in Best Supporting Actress.
